AI training track

Three 8-hour courses — 24 hours in total — from the first prompt to a functional prototype. Designed for those who work in health and education and don't have time to become technology experts, just to use technology well.

You start by automating what consumes your time: reports, lesson plans, document summaries, spreadsheet analysis. Then you learn how to bring this to the team, with quality criteria, usage policies, and return on investment calculations. And you end up designing your own initiative, with a 90-day plan and a running prototype.

Each step is independent and fits into the next. In all of them, the safe and ethical use of AI is not a warning at the end of the lesson: it is the method.

Format: Closed classes, contracted by the institution, in-person or hybrid, with content tailored to each team's sector. There are no open classes or individual enrollment. The contract is formalized through a service agreement with UFRJ, via its supporting foundation.

Module 1 · Fundamentals and Productivity

How generative AI really works, where it goes wrong, and what should never be entered into a prompt. You'll learn B-PIA (Good Practices in AI), our safe-to-use framework, and start writing commands that deliver the correct result on the first try.

Stage 1 · Module 2

Module 2 · Content Creation

It moves beyond loose text and into ready-to-use material: reports, lesson plans, presentations, illustrated educational materials. With critical review, because content generated without verification is disguised rework.

Stage 2 · Module 3

Module 3 · Analysis and Optimization

AI as your analyst. Summarize long documents without losing what matters, extract patterns from spreadsheets, map a workflow, and create personalized assistants for tasks that repeat every week.

Stage 2 · Module 4

Module 4 · Governance and ROI

What changes when AI ceases to be yours and becomes the team's? Mapping use cases, estimating return on investment, drafting internal policy, and creating a deployment plan that survives audits.

Stage 3 · Module 5

Module 5 · Trends and Decision Making

Autonomous agents, automation, and new operating models — what's already applicable and what's still just a promise. You'll leave knowing how to decide between hiring, adapting, or building a solution.

Stage 3 · Module 6

Module 6 · Capstone: functional prototype

Hands-on experience with mentorship. You choose a real-world problem from your industry and leave the room with a working prototype, defined KPIs, and a 90-day plan to get it up and running.

What you will learn: The fundamentals and risks of generative AI, the B-PIA framework for safe use, and how to produce comprehensive materials — reports, lesson plans, presentations, and visual content.
You're going out with: Deliverables built from their own tasks, not from generic examples. And with a work routine that's already in place the following Monday.

The course that takes AI out of individual use and puts it into the team process.

Who it's for: Coordinators, service managers, department heads, and faculty members with management responsibilities.

How does hiring work?

Initial consultation, free of charge. We understand your team's situation, the volume of participants, and where the time bottlenecks are.
Drawing by the class. We define which steps in the learning path make sense, in what order, and in what format—in-person or hybrid. The case studies covered in class are those specific to your institution, not generic examples.
Tailor-made proposal. The investment is calculated per class and varies according to the number of participants, class hours, and format. Larger classes have a lower cost per participant.
Formalization. The service is provided by the Faculty of Pharmacy at UFRJ and contracted through its supporting foundation, with a contract, invoice, and accountability report. We handle all administrative procedures.
Execution and certification. Participants receive a certificate of completion issued by EficiêncIA Lab, with the workload and program content specified.
