Reginaldo Almeida da Trindade
Biomedical Scientist from the Lusíada University Center (UNILUS). Master's degree in Nuclear Technology (Applications) and PhD in Biotechnology from the University of São Paulo (USP). Conducts studies in the areas of therapeutic bioprospecting and public and laboratory strategies for improving health services and diagnoses. In undergraduate Pharmacy teaching, he works in the subjects of "Clinical Laboratory Diagnosis" and "Applied Clinical Cytopathology" and, in the postgraduate program in Nanobiosystems, in the subject of "Biological and pharmaceutical bases for the development of products applied to health".

Biological and pharmaceutical bases for the
development of products applied to health (PG)
Menu: Premalignant and malignant lesions in the prevention of cervical cancer: Cellular recognition, malignancy criteria; Clinical interpretation of the blood count: In infectious diseases; In hematological neoplasms; Clinical interpretation in endocrine metabolic diseases: Diabetes mellitus, Hypothyroidism, Hyperthyroidism; Cardiac enzymes. Quality control in clinical analyses: External control, Internal control, Total quality; Drug interference in laboratory tests.
MenuFundamentals of cytopathology, cells in all tissues formed of epithelium, cytology of secretions and excretions, synovial fluid, seminal fluid, cerebrospinal fluid, vaginal and cervical cytology, breast. Emphasis will be placed on staining methodologies, techniques for collecting fixed and preserved material.
MenuThe objective of this course is to provide postgraduate students in NanoBiosSystems with knowledge of biological and pharmaceutical interfaces necessary for the planning and development of products for application in human health. This includes providing a foundation for the development of experimental rationales compatible with the possibilities and limitations imposed by the regular functioning of organic processes, as well as in silico evaluation tools and legal aspects. The course is taught by professors from the Faculty of Pharmacy accredited as advisors in the PPGIM-Nanobiosystems program: Ana Carolina Rennó Sodero, Daniel Ernesto Rodríguez Fernández, Helena Keiko Toma, Kattya Gyselle de Holanda e Silva, Reginaldo Almeida da Trindade, Theo Luiz Ferraz e Souza, and Viviane de Oliveira Freitas Lione.
