STATEMENT REGARDING CONCURRENT EQUALIZATIONS AND PREREQUISITES
Considering the need to enable the progressive deactivation of the 2007 and 2011 curricula, an exceptional relaxation of prerequisites for certain subjects was requested, aiming to guarantee the completion of students' curricula without compromising their education. In this context, for the 2011 Curriculum, it was defined that the prerequisites approved in 2025/2 will be maintained:
- Pharmaceutical Medicinal Chemistry (FFM480), with the prerequisites IQO240 and BMF310 remaining in place;
- Clinical Parasitology and Mycology F (FFC406), while maintaining the BMW204 prerequisite;
- Clinical Microbiology and Immunology F (FFC480), with the prerequisites BMW204 and BQM103;
- Hospital Pharmaceutical Technology (FFM403), with the prerequisite BMF310 remaining;
- Pharmaceutical Analyses, maintaining the prerequisites IQA233 and IQA234;
- Pharmaceutical Industrial Technology (FFM408), maintaining the BMF310 prerequisite;
- Pharmaceutical Assistance and Care (FFM481), with the prerequisite BMF310 remaining;
- Pharmacoepidemiology (FFM402), while maintaining the prerequisite FFC303;
- Biopharmaceutics (FFM405), maintaining the prerequisite BMF310;
- Hospital Pharmacy (FFM300), with the prerequisite BMF310 remaining;
- Clinical Laboratory Diagnosis, maintaining the BMW204 prerequisite;
- Neuroendocrine Pharmacology (BMF320), maintaining the prerequisite BMF310; and
- Cardiovascular Pharmacology and Chemotherapy (BMF410), with the prerequisite BMF310 remaining.
Additionally, it was decided that internships will not have established prerequisites, with the exception of the Supervised Internship in Pharmacy with Allopathic Compounding, which will maintain its specific requirements, being considered an exception for students expected to graduate in 2026.1.
With regard to the 2026 Curriculum Matrix, the following flexibilities were approved on an exceptional basis:
- Concurrent enrollment in Clinical Pharmacy or Hospital Pharmacy courses (in the 2026.1 period) will be permitted along with Comprehensive Health Care (CIFs) courses;
- Students will be allowed to take Applied Morphological Bases for Pharmacy (BMW103) concurrently with the Human Physiology (CFF122) course;
- Concurrent enrollment in the Spectrometric Methods course and the PCQ I course will be authorized; and,
- For students enrolled in the course IQG232, the equivalence with the course IQG122 will exceptionally be calculated during this period, while the course IQG114 will remain a requirement.
CRIDs (Centers for Research and Development in Homeopathy) will be regulated, with the prerequisite being the subject Pharmacotechnics I.
The measures approved are of an exceptional and temporary nature (2026/1 and 2026/2), with the objective of ensuring the transition between curricular matrices and mitigating academic impacts resulting from the backlog, guaranteeing the progression of students and the proper completion of their educational paths.
